Our purpose is to immortalize wood, giving it new life through design. In order for our pieces to always maintain their conservation and excellent finish, we share some precautions for correct maintenance in our Good Practices Manual. DOWNLOAD HERE or read the full text below.
Jequitibá wood is not indicated for external environments due to the characteristic of its composition. That's why our pieces are only recommended for indoor environments or places where they are not exposed to the weather.
Avoid exposing the piece to direct sunlight or sources of intense heat. This can change its original color or the appearance of marks from objects left on it for a long time.
Avoid dragging or manipulating decorative or functional objects over the piece. Small projections of these objects can cause scratches in the varnish.
When repositioning a part in the environment, especially those with larger dimensions or weight, make sure that the handling pays attention to the integrity of the joints and splices to avoid structural damage. To move storage items such as buffets or dressers, empty them completely first.
Pay attention to the position of pieces very close to walls. Ensure air circulation to prevent moisture in the wood.
For the daily cleaning of the parts, use only a dry flannel. In cases of more intense soiling, a flannel slightly moistened with a small amount of neutral soap may be recommended, as long as it dries after the cleaning procedure. Never use chemical products to clean or polish the piece as they can stain the varnish.
In dining environments, we suggest that the chairs are not inserted completely under the table top to avoid bumps that cause scratches or marks. Preferring a small distance between the table and the chairs also highlights the pieces in the environment.
Pieces with stones, such as marble or granite, receive a waterproofing layer, but by their nature they can absorb liquids. To avoid stains, do not expose the surface to liquids for more than five minutes, preferring to clean them immediately in case of spillage.
Our products pass several resistance and ergonomic tests, but to ensure their durability, observe and comply with the functions for which they were designed.
Do not use tables, chairs and armchairs as a ladder or platform, do not stand on them and do not swing them. Misuse may void the warranty.
