Abaporu Dining Table

Designer: Lucas Takaoka

In Abaporu oil on canvas, the modernist painter Tarsila do Amaral represents the idealism of Antropofágico Movement established in 1926 by Oswald de Andrade. A 'man-eating', which alludes to the idea that needed to absorb the most of international culture. Thus arises the eponymous table. Transfigured the curvilinear traces of Tarsila and carved wood, their openings on the top shows the mouth of passafio, ready to swallow and atropofagir external content.
